Founded in 2018 by Jobel, Christian, and Bernard, also known as DJ Thundergod, Duro Cabeza de Cavite Productions was originally conceived as a tagline for "Rocktoberfest 2018," an event organized and hosted by DJ Thundergod at Lago De Dalahican in Cavite City. After the event’s successful turnout, the team decided to create a Facebook page inspired by the event’s tagline. 

Initially, the page was intended for vlogging purposes only, but it quickly evolved into something more. The group is now recognized for showcasing newly-formed talents, underground rock, and heavy metal bands, bringing them to mainstream audiences.

During the pandemic, Duro Cabeza de Cavite Productions expanded further when DJ Thundergod launched a Facebook live series called Lokal Night Live Radio. This series captured the attention of Filipino rock music fans both in the Philippines and abroad. The show was often praised for evoking the nostalgic 'feels' of NU ROCK 107 FM, reminding fans of the good old days when they discovered new music through various requests.
